Ball Get Ready With Me x

So the End of Year Ball was such an amazing night so I thought I'd show you the products and things I used to turn me into the belle of the ball (or close enough).

So a few weeks before the ball I started fake tanning with the St Tropez Gradual tan in light to medium. I built it up for about 2 weeks straight then let it fade for the week before the ball to let it settle a bit.
I used the venus snap razor to make sure I had super smooth legs (essential for a short dress) and used my viva la juicy body lotion teamed with my viva la juicy perfume to make the scent last longer.

As I bite my nails (I know shame on me), I decided to opt for some false nails, I painted them in the rimmel polish pulsating as this matched the colour of my dress. I did the same to my toes even though you can't see my toes in my shoes but I just felt like doing the full shabang.

On my face I first started out with the benefit facial emulsion as it does a really great job of making your face smooth and matte. I then primed the skin with rimmel lasting finish primer and used the mac studio fix fluid as my foundation. I concealed using the collection lasting perfection concealer before setting my face with the mac mineralize skin finish. I then applied the sleek contour kit to my cheek bones to create a well defined contour and used a mixture of benefits sugar bomb blush with bella bamba by benefit and then topped off the cheek bones with the sleek highlighter. For my eyes I used a marbling 24hr colour tattoo as a base (Pink Gold) and then used a range of shades from the naked 3 palette and sleek vintage romance palette to create a pink/purple smokey eye. I lined the eyes with collections water proof eyeliner and filled in my brows using a combination of model co's more brow and the soap and glory archery pencil. To finish off the look I added fake lashes and mac lipstick in palmful.

For my hairstyle I first straightened my hair. I then sectioned a small section at the front that would act as the quiff. I backcombed this section and pinned it into a quiff shape. I then tied the rest of my hair to the side of my head in a sort of side ponytail. Next I backcombed the hair in the ponytail to give it more volume before pinning it into a messy side bun at the side of my head. This was then hairsprayed in place to ensure it lasted all night using VO5 high volume hairspray.

Outfit wise my dress is from ASOS but I shortened it myself as it originally came to way past my knee, my bag is from accessorize as are my earrings. My shoes are from Kurt Geiger and my flat shoes are from new look (these are for clubbing after #gottabeprepared)

Jewllery wise I opted for a simple pair of pink stud earrings and a pink plait bracelet and also kept on my watch and tiffany bracelet.

Finished Outcome

I had a really great night at the ball and took loads of pictures so I thought I'd share a couple with you
