So as promised here is the 2nd of 3 instalments of Summer Antics. In comparison to June, July was quite quiet in terms of actual plans and mostly was spent working to raise funds for all the fun things I plan to do in August (which I will keep you posted on).
So straight after me and my family got back from Portugal my grandparents from London came up to visit for a few days. It was really nice to see them but as I was at work during the days I only got to see them during the evenings. We went to Kirkby Lonsdale for one evening where we went for a few drinks in Platos and collected a Chinese to take home with us. And another night we went over to my other grandparents house who live about 2 minutes away from us where we had a buffet style tea and sat in the garden.
On the Friday we took my grandparents back to the train station and went to the supermarket to get all our supplies for the following day.
The next day I was at work but in the evening myself, my friend Emma and some of my family and family friends went to Cliff Fest. Cliff Fest is a local music event where local bands play and everyone enjoys a few drinks and a good dance. Its a great laugh and I had a great time. This is the second year we have been and would definitely recommend it.
On the 15th July me and my mum went to collect my new house keys. *squeels of excitement*. I can't really get over the fact that I do in fact have a house now. We spent the morning making my new room look pretty and then headed into town for a spot of shopping before returning home. Im sharing my new house with 6 others (5 of which I lived with in year 1 and 1 who lived across the corridor). And before you even say it, yes I will be doing a room tour blog post at some point. Yay.
On the 24th July me and my friend Roz went into Kirkby Lonsdale for a couple of drinks and a catch up which was really nice. We also got a sticky toffee pudding to share which was heavenly.
On the 27th myself, my mum, brother and cousin all went to manchester as I had a few extra things to take down to the house and we did a spot of shopping.
And really thats all I have been up to during July. Not a lot but August has a lot more in store for me. So keep your eyes peeled.
Until next time
