You guessed it its monthly favourites time again and this time I'm here with my July Favourites. Firstly where on earth has July even gone I swear it was only yesterday I was writing my June post but any-who enough reminiscing. For this month I thought I'd switch it up a little and get rid of the categories because recently I have been finding that the categories make my favourites feel quite forced. Therefore this month I'm going completely off piste and just going to tell you my favourites as they come to me (crazy I know but lets see how it goes). Here are all the things I have been loving throughout July:
So Post GOT and OITNB I have been searching my very best to find a new favourite box set to get my teeth into. I was browsing the netflix homepage when I came across the Office. I had heard my housemates talk about it last year but must of ignored them. Anyway I thought I'd give it a try and I actually find it hilarious. It's definitely a tailored humour choice but give it a whirl and see if you like it.
Tropicaloe Aloe Vera Drink- I know what your thinking that this sounds like some uber-fitness and Uber-expensive weird drink but you'd be wrong. Firstly its so cheap at 50p per drink (2 for £1 in poundland) the price cannot be moaned at. The drink itself is a kind of grape taste which I really like and then has bits of what it describes as being 'Pulp' within the drink. It sounds awful but I love it. Again this is quite a niche taste as my mum hated it but this isn't her monthly favourites is it.
Starbucks Cool Lime Refreshers- If the first drink choice didn't float your boat then maybe this one will. Cool Lime refreshers are potentially one of my favourite all time drinks but unfortunately are only available in the summer months. Whats more its also super low calorie so you don't feel half as guilty picking one up on your way to work. It's a win win.
Nivea for Men Post Shave Balm- I feel like this mo nth I have a lot of favourites that are going to make you all raise your eyebrow in a 'what the hell is this girl on about' way but I'm just going to roll with it. One favourite is the Nivea for Men Post Shave Balm which I have actually been using as a Primer. I saw that a girl I knew at school said she was using it and as a dancer she needed her makeup to stay put. I thought I'd put it to the test and honestly it works amazingly. Don't get me wrong my makeup comes off a little by the end of the day but the results are 100% better than my usual primer so I will be using this religiously from now on.
Wayne Goss YouTube Channel- If you like me enjoy learning all about makeup application and sneaky makeup tips this is your guy. He does the most amazing tutorials and I honestly feel like I have learnt lots just from watching a few of his videos. If you're a makeup geek then its definitely worth a watch.
My Own YouTube Channel- If you hadn't heard about the relaunch of my YouTube channel then a) where have you been but b) jump on board. I have absolutely been loving creating content and learning how to edit properly. This is the first time I've ever shared my videos onto my facebook page mainly for fear of negativity but I was so happy with the number of people that messaged me saying how impressed they were with my videos. I have finally reached a place in my life where I can produce these videos and I honestly don't care if there are people that hate my videos I just make them because I find it fun and hopefully some others do too.
Pineapples- Pineapples are a huge fashion/lifestyle trend at the moment and it's fair to say I am jumping right on that bandwagon with full force. I may have taken it a step too far and I am even redecorating my room with 'Pineapples' as the central theme (video tour to come when I have finished) but yes it's true I have fallen for the hype.
Shwarzkopf Colour Freeze Purple Shampoo- For any of you with blond hair you will know the power of a good purple shampoo but boy oh boy this one is lethal. It is the 'purplest' purple shampoo I have ever seen and it works so so well. As my hair is now an almost white/blonde purple shampoo is now all I use but I can tell when I have used this shampoo compared to your average Provoke Touch of Silver. It isn't the cheapest but it 100% works and is the most effective one I have ever seen.
Summer Sales- This is quite a general one but I have been loving Summer Sales (my bank balance may say a bit too much but hey). Honestly there are some amazing deals around at the minute and I have picked up some absolute bargains so have been very happy with myself.
Pokemon Go- I hate myself for what I am about to say but I am actually hooked on this game, the gaming craze that has hit the nation that is Pokemon Go. At first I thought it was ridiculous but once I actually had a go myself I saw how much fun it was. In my eyes if you're going to play any game you may as well play this one as it actually involves walking around so is a 2 in 1. I had no idea about pokemon before but now I find myself debating with my brother the XP of an Evee and where the nearest Pokegym is. Just watch out for your surroundings though, don't want any of you walking into random roads.
So that was my July Love List, I hope you liked it and let me know if you prefer this style favourites or the old style. As always if you want to keep up to date with all my goings on make sure you give those social media links a click.
