The Body Shop Blogger Event (Almond Milk & Honey Range)

For any of you who read my blog back in December this year you'll know that I went to a body shop blogger event at the Trafford Centre and last month I was invited back along with 2 Blogger friends to take a look at their new Almond Milk & Honey Range.

The new range is made with organic almond milk, no colourants, mineral oils, or petrolatum and  is dermatologically tested for sensitve skin perfect if you're looking for a product that is a little less harsh but still works a treat!

The range consists of 10 products all with the amazing almond milk and honey scent which is delicious but by no means overwhelming.

While at the event I got to try out a couple of the products in the form of a lovely hand massage which was so relaxing I could of fallen asleep there and then!

The products in the range are:
Shower Cream (£2 for 60ml, £5 for 250ml), Gentle Exfoliating Scrub (£15 for 250ml), Body Butter (£6 for 50ml, £15 for 200ml), Body Lotion (£8.50 for 200ml), Hand Cream (£4 for 30ml), Cleansing Soap Bar (£4 for 100g), Bath Milk (£12 for 400ml), and then 3 gift sets.

Treats Set £6 and includes (£2 saving on if products bought separately plus free bath lily):

  • Almond Milk & Honey Shower Cream 60ml
  • Almond Milk & Honey Body Butter 50ml
  • Mini Cream Bath Lily

Essential Collection £18 and includes (£1 saving on if products bought separately):

  • Almond Milk & Honey Shower Cream 250ml
  • Almond Milk & Honey Body Butter 50ml
  • Almond Milk & Honey Soap 100g
  • Almond Milk & Honey Hand Cream 30ml

Premium Collection £28 and includes (£8 saving on if products bought separately):

  • Almond Milk & Honey Shower Cream 250ml
  • Almond Milk & Honey Body Butter 200ml
  • Almond Milk & Honey Bath Milk 400ml
  • Almond Milk & Honey Hand Cream 30ml

It's fair to say there is a good range of products to choose from so I'd definitely recommend checking the range out. I particularly loved the scrub because it was so gentle but I really felt the benefit of it afterwards and also the hand cream because who doesn't love a hand cream!

We were also introduced to a few other products including the Camomile range which we were lucky enough to be gifted to try out.

In our goody bags we received a range of the camomile products including Cleansing Oil (£12 for 200ml), Cleansing Butter (£10 for 90ml), and then 2 Drops of light brightening serum testers and 2 Drops of light Brightening day cream samples. It was so lovely to be gifted these items and am so excited to get my cleansing game back on track with the help of these new products.

Then onto the products I picked up just because! I needed to buy my trusty honey bronze bronzing powder anyway (£14 for 11g shade 03) so I picked that up and also picked up the new Honey & Almond Milk Hand Cream mentioned above. The final product I actually purchased was the Vitamin C Glow Revealing Liquid Peel (£18 for 145ml). This liquid peel is definitely a new favourite and while it is quite weird it is so satisfying I had to pick it up. Using gel to peel technology it peels of dead skin and you can physically see it coming off your face which is so amazing to know a product is instantly working! At the till I was informed of a promotion where if you spent £25 or more you also received a free gift which consisted of another Cleansing Oil, Another Cleansing Butter and a muslin cloth to go with it. It's fair to say I wont be needing any cleanser for a while!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of the team at the Body Shop Trafford centre who were all so welcoming and really knowledgable about the products they were telling us about.
